In The Rough

Creation can be messy. Although I believe in a polished finished product (while still retaining charming blemishes and fractures here and there), the process that goes into crafting is often mildly controlled chaos. There are bad shots, typos, and weak storylines, or shaky lyrics and chords that just don’t work. And that’s ok. “In The Rough” is the space where these evolving concepts, still covered in amniotic fluid, will be birthed and recorded. Maybe there’s a line in a song that influences a particular photo shoot, or a conversation that immediately triggers the idea for a poem. All of these inspirations and working concepts will live here. Watch as they transform.
